In the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), member states recognise need for multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder engagement on climate change, but participation non-state actors in regional processes remains limited. This research focuses case study three transnational governance networks change ASEAN their efforts to participate mechanisms. Data from semi-structured interviews network members texts relevant documents are analysed perspectives communities practice theory participatory governance. finds that provide with opportunities by engaging shared practices.
